O-Farms is still receiving accelerator program applications!

O-Farms is a SME accelerator that focuses on circular agribusiness. Their main focus is to make circularity a mainstream approach for improved rural livelihoods and sustainability.  The IKEA foundation funds this entity.

Recently, an extension on applications for O–Farms accelerator program looking to drive the next innovation around circular agribusiness was announced.

Agri-circularity promotes a more sustainable food system by developing innovative business models that reduce agricultural losses. As a result, economic opportunities and jobs arise for the community.

The plan will be setup in Kenya by E4Impact Accelerator, with 12 Agritech businesses selected for the first cohort.

Chosen entrepreneurs will have access to a customized agri-circularity business training curriculum. In addition, they will also receive technical help, coaching, networking, mentorship and peer leading.

Two start-ups shall receive EUR50,000 (US$58,000) of seed funds at the end of program based on peer selection

The deadline for submitting an application is October 10th.
